Do I See You

Do I see you peeking through the window

Craving my attention

You wonder, knowing you’re unworthy of it

What can you do, how can you find your way inside

Are you spineless enough to slither under the door

Are you crafty enough to make it through the open window on the 2nd floor

No, you’re not

But you might buy your way in

Slip a bill under the door and hope I notice

Then maybe

You hold breath after it’s done

Waiting, stroking, hoping

You swore you saw me look

I did

I wasn’t impressed

Your desperation is hardening

You know you don’t deserve even a look from me, but you can’t stand the hunger

Any other man can tell you that it won’t go away

Until you surrender

Until you sacrifice

Until I have what I want

And you already know the truth

And the likelyhood that you will not end up with what you want

But you empty out your wallet anyway

And with one sweaty hand you push everything you have under the door

The ultimate sacrifice in a last ditch effort

To get a foot, or is it your dick, in the door

You see me bending down to pick up your offering

You see me consider if I will open the church door

To let you in to worship in my presence

And then you see me turn and walk away

Through the window, you watch as I leave you there

Without even a glance back

You know you have given me everything you have

And it still wasn’t enough

The humiliation makes you swell with desire and desperation

You realize you have only one thing left to sacrifice

Your own pleasure

And the evidence of your devotion trickles down your fingers as you stand

Alone outside my window
